Randy Alcorn says that as believers, our first glimpse of heaven will cause us to gasp in amazement and delight.

Jennifer Waddle says heaven is not a mythical place. That it is the holy dwelling of the Lord Most High and the Bible gives us beautiful descriptions of the place in which those who have received Jesus will spend eternity.

The Bible contains several passages that provide insights into heaven. While the specifics about heaven are not exhaustive, the Bible offers a general understanding of what heaven is like.

Psalm 11:4: “The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord’s throne is in heaven; his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man.”
